HELP!!! What do I do, and how will I know! Herpes SV2

This last week, I got the devastating diagnosis of HSV-2. I feel embarrassed and depressed about it. But now, I have so many questions.

My outbreak is inside the vagina, so I don't know how the healing stages are supposed to be like. For the past week I have been discharging a watery liquid that fills up pads; that was the main symptom that urged me to get tested alongside headache with chills. The sores appeared 3-ish days later as my dr checked (she said the first check she did had no sores when I was just discharging). It is also really hard for me to actually see if they are healing properly, I only have visual of one of the sores.

Also, my outbreak doesn't itch or hurt since they are inside the vagina. For future reference, how am I supposed to know if I am getting a recurring outbreak if I cant see it or feel it?

I am so worried about the future and how it will effect any potential relationship I get into, if I could even get one.

If anyone has any advice or insight to this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

No, I haven't. I'm still in the freak out mode and dealing with my first outbreak to clear up and heal.

What are the benefits of l-lysine?

taking lysine on a regular basis may help prevent outbreaks of cold sores and genital herpes. Lysine has antiviral effects by blocking the activity of arginine, which promotes HSV replication
