Ingrown hairs and possibly a bit of folliculitis. Absolutely stop picking. stop shaving for a bit to let those hairs start to emerge. If you are using a wet razor, throw it away and get a new one. Dont buy cheap razors ,they often dont have a fine blade and will cause scrapes and possibly infections. If you are using an electric razor, take the head out and wash it in warm soapy water. wash thoroughly rinse well and dry. Make sure the hair reservoir behind the blades is empty and as clean as possible.
It is better if you dont shave so close, however just keep this area clean and if possible use a soft brush to massage the lather over the skin. rinse well, and dry thoroughly. Then apply a body cream and massage well in. It doesnt have to be expensive but an oat based one is very good. Do this every day before bed. In abut 2 weeks things should look a lot better. Then just do this twice per week.
Dont wear nylon or polyester pants...only cotton, and if you can go without pants at night thats ideal.
This is a very common problem, but needs to be tackled or you could end up with lots of infected pustules.

Hi, you can use Octenisept from your Pharmacy after shaving or once a day.
