Help! What's wrong with my mom?

One day 20 years ago, my mom was on her daily 5 mile walk and her right leg just gave out. She decided to keep going and it happened again. It’s continued to happen since then and has gotten worse and worse. My mom’s right leg is also incredibly swollen, twice the size of her left leg. It’s not painful at all.

Mom has tried every herbal remedy out there and many traditional and alternative doctors. Nothing works and no one can figure out the cause.

I’m reaching out to every online forum I can because it’s gotten so bad, she can barely get around anymore and she’s so depressed.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
