Help with loss of mobility at night times

Hi my mother seems to loose the ability to walk at night times. She is awaiting memory tests for possible vascular dementia or Alzheimer’s. It seems to happen suddenly, one moment she is walking with a walk next minute she’s struggling to move her legs and stay upright. She has had a UTI which she’s on antibiotics for. there is also confusion as to where she is and where things are,
