Hello

I have my latest blood results and would like more information on them.

TSH 6.56

FT4 18.9

FT3 2.9

that's all it say on the letter.

I had TT (total thyroidectomy) 2 years ago's and I am on levothyroxine 125mg one day next day 150mg , endo wants to increase it to 150mg everyday? Would that be the right thing to do with these results?

Any help is appreciated thank you all.

Emma.

Your TSH is higher, should be below 4

Your FT4 is OK, should be below 19

Your Ft3 is a bit low, should be above 3.1

So an increase in medication sounds advisable, especially if you have symptoms like tiredness or brain fog.

Go for it and good luck. A mild sedative such as Atevan can help the anxiety as well.

      Thank you

never heard of that for anxiety, is it prescribed or over the counter?

Ativan is a brand name for Lorazepam. It is a prescription medication for anxiety. I find it works and you are supposed to take it when needed, not all the time. In typically used doses it doesn’t make you sleepy, you are fine to drive and get on with daily life. But it can take the edge off anxiety and make thing a bit more bearable.
