Help with sleep

I suffer obstructive sleep apnea along side my fibromyalgia and really struggle to get a restful night sleep. I am waiting on my cpap machine which I will have next month. However my husband bought me an eye mask to wear while I sleep and I have to say that I’ve worn it for 2 nights now and I feel they’re the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had in years. I don’t know why it’s working or how but I do know I feel good my pains are easing and I’m managing to stay awake longer. Anyone else tried this?

Mika get the soft one so it presses against your eyelids I think it’s the pressure on my eyes that helps stop the rapid eye movements and that’s why it works, mine cost just £2 from local chemist let me know if it helps you x

I have a Bpap machine same only the air has a different rhythm...it’s just amazing...I got a printout and it shows everything, without it my rem sleep is totally destructive. I have FMS also SS and a few other autoimmune issues but without that awesome sleep I couldn’t deal with the following day, never tried the eye covering, but I do know from printed results that I was not breathing properly most of the night. I would wake up soo tired, hope it helps, be blessed and have a lovely day and nights sleep😍😍

Hi Christine, I’m so excited about getting mine the tests I’ve had show I’m stopping breathing over 570 times a night so I get very little to no restorative sleep I am just hoping that the machine will help with being able to cope with every day life if I’m not so tired and sore. Try the mask as well I think it helps me and it’s only £2 even if it makes no difference it’s not a huge financial loss. X

Yes he certainly is. He is the only grandchild here in Tasmania, so naturally he is spoilt, he lives around the corner.  My grandaughters are on the mainland one in Sydney NSW and the other in Adelaide South Australia, don’t know what I’d do without having him near us to spoil.😁😍
