I’m newly diagnosed HsV 2 and wrapping up the end of my first outbreak. All the open sores have closed and healed up... my problem is I still itch. Really bad. I itch up by the opening of my lips and my vulva..My sores were in between my vagina and my anus. I have tried coconut oil hydrocortisone cream yeast infection cream Epsom salt bath and nothing has really taken away the itch..My whole vagina is starting to become red and irritated again from scratching. How can I make this stop? Also is it weird that location so far away from my sores is itching still?

Try medications for herpes. Valtrex for example

i took a 10 days worth of valtrex.I’ve also been taking 2000 mg of lysine been driving it down to two. They prescribed me suppressant therapy but I don’t really want to take it because of the adverse side effects trying to control it with over-the-counter.

they looked more like ulcers. there were never any blisters or bumps. That’s another reason why with all these pictures of is this herpesThat’s another reason why with all these pictures of is this herpes confuse me. my herpes didn’t look like herpes and i was in disbelief when they told ne it was. The safest thing to do is to get tested.

It will take a while even after the sores are visually gone for the skin to be fully healed! The virus wants to be active and the body is trying to stop it!

I also think that there is a little mental role there aswell! I used to think any itch was a outbreak!

Try take antivirals for another few Days!

I found tea tree oil really helps 😃 mixed with a bit of coconut oil!
