    Hi Paula,

I take a multivitamin, zinc, magnesium malate. GP prescribed iron and vit D, I also going through menopause so purchased menopace. Oh my days, these were a lifesaver from hot flushes and night sweats also things with my husband improved!!;; I would just take as indicated on bottles.

Do you feel any better since on vits?

    Hi Paula,

I don't take magnesium, but my Rheumy prescribed Fultium D 3,200 IU and I take one daily with a glass of water.

I hope things improve for you soon.

Thanks for replying. Can you buy that in shops or can it omly be prescribed? I will try a few things and see if I get any relief. Did it take a while for vitamins to have any effect on you? Thanks

I'm not sure if they can be bought over the counter, I've  never tried, I don't pay for my prescriptions as I'm retired.  Apparently I was badly deficient in D as I avoid the sun following skin cancer.  I've been taking them now for about 12 months and to be honest, nothing seems to have changed.
