Good administration and communication in health service simply does not exist. Why?

I had GB stones, that I removed without surgery.

Traditional medicine and accupressure treatments were used.

How do you know you have gallstones. And what kind of help are you looking for? Have you been diagnosed and have you been referred to a surgeon? It sounds like you are going through what a lot of people are going through. Approximately two weeks ago I was diagnosed and I have been referred to a surgeon who I'll only consult with in a month's time. I'm not even sure when my ultrasound is due. So all this stuff really takes some time.

Where are you from? The government has ruined healthcare. The doctors and hospitals are regulated with what they can do and not do. It is a shame that the patient and their health needs come last. You need to get those gallstones removed and you know that ,but, I am guessing you are having a hard time getting that done.Hopefully, you will  and it may mean changing doctors. If you have an attack can you got to the er and maybe they will do emergency surgery? Just thinking... Keep me informed.

I'm from South Africa in the Western Cape. went to multiple doctors before I finally got diagnosed. I've been suffering for the last three months. And the health care system is really slow here. But hopefully things will turn out ok. Just have to keep the faith. Will keep you posted.

Are you in pain? Because if you're not, I advise you not to have The gallbladder removed. It has transformed my life for the worse. I only did the surgery because I had life threatning condition - pancreatitis and didn't want to die. Did the surgery as an emergency 2 months after my 1 baby was born and 4 months later still with terrible side effects that I think they  will be forever. Try anything and everthing to get rid of the gallstones. That's my sincere advice. And yes I would had to be 18 weeks on a waiting list. I would have died before any surgery!
