My 95 year old mother just broke 2 bones in her arm and the doctor set it TWICE with no anesthesia. He said the shots could be more painful than resetting with nothing. She was so taumatized we will not let him do it again, although she has to have it xrayed again to see if it is aligned properly. Don't know how to handle this.

My brother said he had a shot under his arm for surgery on his finger (?) and he stills feels discomfort years later. So if you don't feel pain this may be a good thing. Maybe it just takes more time to dissipate. What did the doctor tell you?

They didn't really say much apart from to take pain killers but my whole finger is still numb and I can't move it which I find strange as it was nearly 11 hours ago surely the sedative should've worn off by now I'd have thought
