Hematuria

I am 65, hematuria off and on life long. Father developed kidney failure prior to his death. Recent urinalysis indicated hematuria. Dr. was not too interested in checking it out so I had my own lab work done. Urinalysis shows 2 things that are out of whack...Occult blood Result 1+ and RCB Result 3-10. I just wonder if these are things I should be concerned about? I do not want to have a problem go undetected if there is one. Thanks for any insight on this.
