OK so I'm getting the procedure done on the 24th of April but scared I'm flying to have it done to be told they won't do it. I have been told these are grade 3 as they come out when I go to bm then I hav e to push them up myself every morning in the shower some discomfort after but no bleeding or pain mostly just know they are inside me. I have had these almost 25 years now and they are ruining my life have became depression got health anxiety thinking the worst. Has anyone ever had the rafaelo treatment on grade 3 hemoroids and its actually worked as I am flying over is there pain after it am I safe to fly. I'm booked in Harley Street London but heard of one in Birmingham with amazing feedback so I'm not sure what to do if anyone could help me please

Looks Painful mine where bigger and Grade 4

I had 2 surgery's to have mine removed. Within 6 months apart.

Ok I had mine removed by a Hemroidctomy surgery.... never heard of the treatment but to help you a bit take HOT baths, it helps release pain and allows them to go back up themselves.

You shouldnt push them up yourself its bothers them more causing inflammation.

buy some xlyocaine numbing cream if the area hurts. use ice packs and or hot water bottles. dont stress yourself

Thanks so scared of the pain after the op I already suffer with depression and anxiety it's all becaise of these they make you feel so miserable gave up alcohol 3 months ago and changed my diet completely now they don't bleed but I know they are there inside

They look pretty big.. i would go for hemorrhoidectomy with a reputable colorectal surgeon. after 25 years you will be glad to rid of them.

Tell me you managed to do something about your piles? Iv just had rafaelo 13 days in today 3 stage 3 piles although my hems did go back into place after each protuding painful episode had passed which my surgeon said is what needs to happen as all pile tissue must be back inside for this procedure to to be carried out sucessfully. So iv give it a try, its early days yet, swelling and pain up and down on a daily basis, worse after BM, spoke to nurse 2 days ago she said pain and swelling will go down. procedure itself was not painful just a little uncomfortable at moments id say although i did get valium from my doctor (for my anxiety) which i belive made it a walk in the park. Im sorry if your piles are to severe for this procedure but still seek advice about rafaelo and other surgeries if you havent already by now. I see you posted almost two years ago, how are you now?
