Donate blood at your nearest blood bank every 3 months but do not mention having a high ferritin, or iron overload.

Inflammation, infection, malignancy, fatty liver, alcohol, too much sugar and starchy carbs cause fatty liver.

Insist you dr find the cause of your high ferritin if it is not genetic haemochromatosis.

However your TS% >50 is a good marker for genetic haemochromatosis. Also check what your MCV is- on full blood count test. If it is >94, that is a positive marker as well.

I got tingling and numbness in feet, as well as extreme pain like electrical zaps, but well after being de-ironed. It is some form of neuropathy and requires medication to remove the pain.
