Any one else suffering with this and folk thinking it's all in the mind

    I have ad right hemi facial spasm for over 6 months now, before, during and after a stroke. While stress does not help it is not the cause and I too get very tired of people saying it is in your mind and will pass. It won't and it isn't. I am now waiting for a referral to another neurologist specialising in Botox injections, but the weeks seem so long and there is no relief from it. Good luck and keep pestering your GP if you can get an appointment that is.

      Hiya jenny my gp thinks it's in my head he was disrespectful in what he said to me I havn't been back there is obviously a reason for my droopy mouth snd my loss of speach the list goes on all this since ladt July passed around like a parcel and now finally checking my heart my own gp said I've had a stroke others beg to differ I'm just fed up of it all now with no treatment offered or a solution even my fiance thinks it's in my head

    No i am not on face book, but there should be a drop in centre near you. Look on the internet and google your area.
