The other night I woke up in severe agony cramping etc ran to the toilet doubled in pain trying to poo had been constipated for a few days had been on a really bad diet stressed working all hours , finally I went and then i got loose stool after that I started bleeding , went to the doctor and she said sounds like a pile I had taken pics and showed her them , she gave me some fibre sachets , then a day later all blood gone , had to see my gp different to the other one , about my thyroid blood tests asked him about it he checked and said he couldn’t see anything  so it must of healed but definitely no blood in my rectum, as I suffer from health anxiety he said he would fSt forward me for a colonoscopy to put my mind at rest , now I’m scared out of my wits in case it’s serious , totally lost my appetite anybody else had this please help

Yes I've suffered  with anxietype all my life and it's horrible. I do think diet is so important  I know  if I eat junk it does upset  my system.Soaking in a warm bath helps to.😡

Have had these little horrors since having children many years ago. Sometimes all OK  but tend to eat a bit all over the place .Just  lately they have been  a real pain in the butt! !So try to eat wearability and fru it for breakfast  lunch sandwich  with wholemeal bread and yoghurt  don't drink coffee at all odd cup of tea and lots ofor water.Weatabix not Wearability  ! Also have tried fibrogel  to keep a bit regular.I like you get very anxious it's hard to keep calm sometimes x

They sure are a pain  , never having this problem before and seeing blood scared the hell outta me , with health anxiety as well I’m convincing myself it is something else even though the doc said I’m fine 🙁

I know it is scary although I've had mine a long time  never had them bleed like now. Have been told that if blood is bright red it's a pile. Mine have been like this a couple of months of and on. Docs examined me and said it was a thrombosed  pile . Once been to toilet it's fine.

Do try and eat  better and try and drink as much water as you can as it makes going to toilet easier. You are not alone in know how you feel so keep  in touch if you want to x

I’ve just been a bundle of nerves tbh , stressed about this appointment at the colorectal doctors , I got a letter for a appointment but it was the wrong hospital so I called my gp snd I asked if he thought it was necessary  and he said well we need to follow the path he said he thinks I’m fine but we need to find out where the bleed come from , so I’m thinking well is it a hemoroid or something serious 🙁

Hi Wendy , Sorry to hear you are having problems with doctors. You will feel much better when you get conformation that it a pile , have you had any more bleeding. Do try and eat a bit though I know its easier said than done as when my anxiety kicks in the last thing you feel do doing is trying to get food down. Even if its just little and oftenyou have to keep your body nourished. Will keep in touch April x
