Hemorrhagic Ovarian Cyst

Hello people,
So about a month ago yesterday exactly, I started experiencing pain in my left ovary. I remember thinking it felt like my ovary was going to pop. I made it about 4 days before I went into an urgent care. They didn’t know what the hell was going on, I then had been directed to an emergency room. They did a CT to identify the issue. They thought it was either diverticulitis, and ovarian cyst, or kidney stones. It needed up being a Hemorraghic Ovarian Cyst only about 4 / 5 cm. I have not had children yet, but like to think I’ve got a high Em tolerance for pain. The pain radiated to other parts of my body, for example my whole back. I had pain going down my legs, even in my rib cage. It sucked. I went to a OBGYN, who claimed it shrunk 2 days after my emergency appointment, but he clearly didn’t know how to examine a women. My pain became unbearable and I had several women recommend me to this amazing local OBGYN 2 days later. I officially know what I feels like to be kicked in the balls/dick if I had them. After my exam, I grabbed the trash can and was violently gagging for about 20 minutes straight. Thank god I had a helpful nurse. This doctor wasnt trying to hurt me but he was on point and knew how to examine me. He knew just how much pain I was in. I got the appointment with him by pretty much by forcing him to take me in. After seeing me, he canceled the rest of his appointments for the day and admitted me to the local hospital and took me into surgery 2 hours later. It was a whirlwind and I was very lucky. My cyst was probably no more than 5 1/2 cm, and I’m thinking how all of the ladies on this blog with 7+ cm dealt w theirs. Good lord. So I was out of work for 3 weeks. Im my second week back to work, I’m still been sore and am trying to take it easy. But GUESS WHAT?!!! I’ve been randomly feeling pain building in my right ovary now. My good ovary! Ugh. So it hurts to walk, activate the muscles used for pooping and peeing, and of course, here comes the back ache. I’ve got an ultrasound tomorrow to find out if I could potentially have a second hemorraghic ovarian cyst forming. I’m not happy.
Questions:
How do people manage the pain?
Long term pain management vs surgery? Thoughts?
How do you feel about hemorraghic cysts absorbing back into the body?
What about upping the strength of birth control to minimize the risk?
Does having a history of hemorraghic cysts make you high risk for pregnancy?

Hi
I have a similar story .
Pain in my back and tummy for weeks . Emergency did at CT scan and said it was a 4.5cm haemoraghic cyst that had bled and that it was probably the bleed that caused the pain .
That was Dec / early Jan . I've since been referred to urology - put on antibiotics , referred for a colonoscopy - clear and went to OBYGYN who agreed it was cyst and scheduled me for lap removal even tho she thought it was a small cyst for all the pain I was having !!!
I have a date of March2 . However I've had about 10 days pain free . Then low and behold the lower back pain and aching is back today .
NOt sure if this cyst would be gone or what is going on .

Hey!
I have a 11 cm cyst on my right ovary- before that I had 3 days worth of some pain and the 4th day I was in a lot of pain. Went to a&e and they did an ultra sound which found the cyst, i then was admitted to ward over night. Following morning pain had calmed down and I saw doctors who said that my cyst twisted but it untwisted itself thank god. I then was discharged, had a ct scan 2 weeks after after that saw my surgon which he had to take my case to the cancer team as my ct scan wasn't clear. My ct scan showed a fluid filled cyst with a solid part but he was thinking the solid part was my ovary. I then had a MRI scan last Friday and was suppose to have keyhole surgery on the 26th Feb but they cancelled it due to an emergacy coming in. So don't know my MRI results. My op was booked for march but I've had to change it to April - I spoke to them yesterday to change it and the women I spoke to asked me if surgon had called me to tell me my results and I said no so I'm guessing that since he hasn't called me straight away that my MRI is clear/ fingers crossed! ( I had blood tests for tumor but all Normal)
I am still in pain but it's not all the time. I have a lot of pain in other areas of my body and someone said to me about it being referred pain which may be what you have??
What kind of op did they do?
Sorry for the long comment hope this helps.
