Hemorrhoid Help from someone who has experienced it.

I suffered with hemorrhoids for sometime and would bleed a lot. I went to specialist and all kinds of other doctors. I was prescribed cream which didn’t help. I also had some other procedures that didn’t help. I started to research things and this is what I figured out and it stopped the bleeding and helped with the hemorrhoids. I’m not gonna go into the why but this is what I do now on a daily basis. I take a probiotic and a prebiotic daily. I add a half a teaspoon of coconut oil to my coffee in the morning to slow the absorption of the caffeine. I try to eat more vegetables but by no means eat that healthy. I do feel better when I work out regularly but haven’t lately and still no bleeding but it does help. I try to stay away from nuts because they seem to cause inflammation in my system. I can eat them but I try not to go overboard. A lot of candy and deserts can cause me to bleed a little sometimes but not like before. I think it is when I eat a lot of garbage you can get constipated and have to strain more during bowel movements. I try to eat more vegetables and fruit to make sure I get enough fiber so I don’t get constipated and have to strain. I also have chamomile tea and manuka honey every night because that help with acid reflux which I was having a lot when I was bleeding a lot. I think my system had inflammation throughout which was causing a lot of the problems. I also use the prep h wipes after every vowel movement. Well this is my routine and has stopped the bleeding and gotten my hemorrhoids in check. I hope this helps anyone who has been suffering without any help. Good Luck.

    Hey jman

Have you had internal hems banded before? Also do you know what grade you’re hems are?

I have not had them banded. I did have the ultroid treatment done twice. It may have helped a little to shrink the hemorrhoid but was still bleeding. I was told that you have to have them banded multiple times. The doctors don’t aleays tell you how many times you have to have certain treatments I’ve found out.

Sorry also I think I had a grade 2 internal hemorrhoids.

I had 2 I think maybe 3 grade 1 hems banded this morning and I felt a lot of pressure from the inflammation but about 8 hours later I feel almost normal like I never had it done which is so far so good. I think that banding has a 60-80% success rate and if it fails that’s when you need to have it done again and it would probably only fail on grade 3 hems or if it isn’t done right so maybe consult with your GP about the possibility? I just know what it’s like to have to base a routine around these horrible things. I’ll let you know if this banding completely works for me!

I would like to know how the banding worked for you, cause I had it done several months ago which I now regret cause it didn't help me. I actually feel worse now. I will be getting it done again in about 7 weeks. Hopefully this time it will work. Keep us up to date if successful for you.

Hi, check out online Essential Oils for Haemorrhoids, there is lots of info on which oils and how to mix with carrier oils, I've used Cypress essential oil, Frankincense, Peppermint, Tea Tree, in combination, 2 drops of each equals 8 drops to 4 teaspoons of sweet almond oil, sweet almond oil is the carrier I use, I've used hazel nut oil and jojoba oil which are good, and you just massage it on the area.

I have an update to what may be causing the bleeding. I hadn’t been working out because of an injury and started to eat poorly. I was eating candy from my kids Halloween and a few days afterward I started bleeding again. I stopped eating all of the different types of candy and the bleeding subsided about 4 days later. I think heavy amounts of sugar causes some of the bleeding. I hope this helps anyone reading.
