Okay so been living life up to this moment.
July 11th surgury went fine went home the same day, was numb for a day and half then afterwards and THEN it all changed.
I have so many questions regarding my experience!
super painful.. it's been awful experience.
- July 11th Surgery removed 3 hemorrhoids, have stitches inside and outside.
- Going on day 5 no "First" bowel movement
frustrated at this point, have mild fever, chills every night when in pain, headache.
- Gas omg worst pain out of it all. Not that I have something to compare it to, but I'm sure you'll all agree.
- I have burning and tenderness on my lower bum
- slight odor? anyone ...
have to ask when you had this how did you lay?
did you sit on your bum? did you lay on your back ?
tips please

hi, i had the surgery done on 12th july in the morning was warded for the night discharge on the next day. I had first bowel movement on day 2 . The nurse fed me with movicol on fri night and sat morning. I lay on my back . feel more comfortable than laying on my side. Tips is make sure you get your bowel moving and no. 2 must be as soft as possible. drink stool softener and sitz bath you need get there clean. call your dr if you do not have any no. 2 especially its day 5. Best wishes for your recovery !

wasn't sure if laying on my back was a good idea, but it does feel good.
I have internal and external stitches and its extremely painful tonight for some reason,
I took some Senokots last night on my own accord hoping it helps.
I have a odor down their unsure of what that's all about and I've been losing pieces of my hemroids I suppose that where left that's painful for sure so maybe that's the cause of pain this night into early morning

Please drink lots of water atleast 3 to 4 litres and take painkillers and lexatives regularly for the first few weeks.
i had surgery in august last year and had a slow recovery given my tendency to get constipated. please please make sure you never get constipated, keep taking your lexatives and lots and lots of water.
keep moving around, it helps too.
i bought a portable bidet(placed on toilet, filled with hot water) for sitz baths and i also opened my bowel in it for first few days, i felt the water in bidet somehow took of the pressure off and made it easy for me to open my bowels. i sat in bath as well with Epsom salt in it . it helped my aching back and legs muscles relax. i also have a squat stool that i still use everyday.
i was mostly walking around or lying in bed, sitting on the toilet was the only time i sat first 2,3 weeks.
i hope you have a speedy recovery and be assured that this time will pass.
all the best xx
