Hemorrhoids

Some one has sent me from Canada 7 day treatment (18 Tablets) of Hemorrhoids called Hemovel . It is manufactured by STRAGEN Pharma of Switzerland and Imported by PENDOPHARM Division of Pharmascience Inc. Montreal, QC, Canada H4P 2T4 (Tele: 1-888-550-6060). I have still not tried it. I would like to have the views of others who have used this product. After getting the views, I plan to use it myself.

Its a plant extract.  I'm guessing it can't hurt to try it.  The worst case scenario is that it does nothing.  The best case is that it solves the problem and you can avoid the lousy surgery.  My guess is that it won't do much but everyone is different.

Thanks for the replies. Surgery is not a suitable option for me due to advanced age. My hemorrhoids are not creating problems for me, Hence occasionally I use ointments for short duration lest this issue become advanced.

As for Hemovel is concerned, some one sent me and the manufacturers appear dependable, hence I could use it if it does not have serious side effects. At my age one likes to avoid too many medicines which are  a problem by itself though I happen to be in reasonable good health still walking 30 mins a day ; a key factor for my health.

Best of luck to you all who replied.

Based on what you have written, especially that your hemorroids are not causing you a problem and when they do you can manage by ointments, I would suggest you DO NOT get a hemorrhoidectomy.  Read the stories here and on other sites.  If it’s not absolutely needed, avoid it.

Thanks Jane. I do not intend to undergo any invasive procedure which you also say is the right thing for me.

Thomas. thanks for your views . I am much above you from age point. Hence do not intend opting any type of surgery unless totally inevitable. You are just 60 which is a young age with almost full strength unless one gets caught by some bad disease. You have a long way to go. Best of luck to you.
