Anyone on here suffer with the above? I'm at my wits end. Eating disorder, laxative abuse for 35 years. Now no BM without use of stimulant laxative which in turn plays havoc with my ongoing anal fissure and hemorroids. in constant pain and life seriously disrupted.

Im in this space too. But sometimes jogging helps my colon to move, Ive been using laxatives as well, but im working on bringing it back to normal, by jogging every morning. If theres any other means that can help, I willing to hear.

HI Frank - jogging is not on the cards for me unfortunately as have kidney failure and osteoporosis but, like you, keen to hear any success stories.

Do not waste anymore time anal fissures have to be one of the worst things you can experience, seek a surgeon and have a fissurerectomy / Hemmerectomy and get your life back cause living with a anal fissure is no way to live.. Surgery is gonna hurt during recovery, but problem solved...

Thanks Arok. Can you just remind me what you suffer from and what medical/surgical intervention you've had? What to expect. My biggest fear is that, because I'm immunosuppressed, admitted to ICU and intubated last year with sepsis, that I won't heal.
I know we've spoken before 'virtually' but for some reason I can't find the thread.
Thanking you in advance.

I suffered from Internal hems and a anal fissure for years, so there was all scar tissue down there, only solution to properly heal the tare was a fissurerectomy / Hemmerectomy was a painful recovery but not as bad as having to go to bathroom with the fissure, you would need to rest a good month or so after surgery, wish I did sooner, all those years in pain for nothing.. Dont waste another minute!! schedule surgery, sooner you do it the sooner the nitemare is over... Good Luck!
