Hepatitis B Vaccine for work

Hi everyone, would really appreciate some guidance on this.

My workplace want me to be fully vaccinated against Hep B with a blood test to confirm immunity. I had the full 3 doses previously but never a follow up blood test. I completed this course almost 3 years ago. My occupational health (who are not particularly helpful.....) have requested I have another dose of the vaccine followed by a blood test 2 months later. What I can't understand is why can I not just have a blood test now to confirm immunity? Why do I need a 4th vaccine? I'm tempted to buy one of the kits where you provide a small sample of blood through a finger and send away for results to see if I have immunity
