hi all,i got up feeling fine...now feeling low.It took 5 weeks to settle on these tablets and now the doc has put them up i feel like im back to square one again.Im not going to let it get to me as i know ive got to get used to them again,i just find it frustrating. i went to the shop earlier and found it hard to drive again, that upset me as ive only just been driving more this week as ive felt better!Never mind,im determind to get through this. Its hard when your feeling low.How can a tablet make you feel good one day and awfull the next!Still ive had 3 good days so 1 bad day isnt that bad...hopefully feel better tomorow.Just wish this dizzy head would go away,i cant even walk in a straight line..not good!

I'm really sorry to read you have taken a step back again hun. I admire your determination - it will help you a great deal.
Just keep reminding yourself it's the increased dose that is causing this setback and not you that isn't improving.
Fingers crossed once your body adjusts again to the higher dose you will start to feel better again.
Stay strong Kim - we are all pulling for you.
Love & hugs

Stick with it Kim - you CAN and WILL beat this!
It's good te hear of your well being aly :D it isn't an easy road to take is it?
Katy - my friend - what can I say! Chin up - shoulders back (that forces the other things up and out  )
I'm doing good now :D
Sleeping well - the tablets are great - they give me no time or opportunity to think! Nope - not capable of a thought within 30 minutes of taking them! Feeling so much more confident and relaxed during the daytime, yesterday I was up for 6am showered, dressed cleaned the house, went to the shops and was sitting down by the afternoon having a lovely chimwag with Kim on msn. Later, I cooked dinner then we all relaxed in front of the TV watching nothing - spent the whole evening chatting and laughing.
When that ugly little demon tries to show itself I push it away and now have the energy to get up and do something to help me keep it away.

It's a huge decision to make though - are you really sure that is where you want or need to be?
Can't you ask a family member to have the children for a weekend or a few days - that would enable you to rest - less pressure and not having to think about looking after the children for a couple of days would give you some respite.
Do you feel you are going to harm yourself or harm someone else?
If yes, then get yourself off to the hospital - if no then try and arrange for someone to have your children for a few days and use that time to do nothing - just rest, rest and more rest!
Take care sweetheart and try to stay strong - and doesn't that just about take up all our energy - leaving us drained and unfit to do anything else.
If I could - I'd get a bulldozer and shorten the very long and bumpy road you are on; I'd turn on all the lights in that dark tunnel you have become a prisoner in and take all your worries, anxieties from you and bury them in some deep gooey pit where they could never escape from and burden you again.
Alas! I do not have the powers, so you will just have to put up with my prattling words and know that no matter what - I am here for you.

TT - Katy - sorry to hear you feeling so low. It sounds as if you really need to accept whatever help you can secure - family or medical- to get some rest. It's hard enough battling this thing and the constant tiredness is so draining both mentally and physically. Sinusitis can be particularly nasty as well. Crushing pain in your forehead and then your whole face feels numb but painful - like a gripping mask. Have you tried steam inhalation for this? It's something my mother used to do and seemed to really help her without taking any other drugs.
Melbi. So pleased the Zopiclone are helping you to cope. You sound so upbeat which is splendid. :D Long may it continue!!
Kim - enjoy your lunch and here's to more good days than bad.
Stay strong everyone. :dragon: Keep fighting this thing!
Best regards to all

Please register - we girls promise not to hound you (too much) with private messages
Kim the dizziness just has to be the most awful thing ever - I'm still experiencing some dizzy spells but nothing too much to get me down - they are very similar to the brain zaps in the way it comes and goes within seconds then all is okay again. But to suffer constant dizziness must be really awful - I really do hope it settles down for you very soon.
Katy - to help with sinus pain do as Siltman says but add 1 teaspoon of salt to a pint of steaming water and inhale for at least 10 minutes 3 or 4 times a day. Be careful not to have the water too hot or the steam will scald the inside of your nose - not nice at all
You can also make this mixture up and leave in the fridge for up to 24 hours and use it as nasal drops 3 or 4 times a day - obviously wait until it has cooled before putting any up your nose.
Now I have to ask something quite bazaar
While taking citalopram the arthritic pain I experience in my wrist and fingers eased off. Over the last couple of days it has started to become more painful again
Could citalopram really have helped with this pain? Have I discovered some new drug that could help arthiritis  not that I'd recommend citalopram to anyone for that purpose lol but does seem rather strange that while taking it the pain eased but now it is returning.
