hi all. Have had Iliostomy reversal surgery, all was well but had anaemia and had iron infusion. Also have developed right side pain going into back that hurts when I use my bowel, but also hurts all of the time . Seeing surgeon in 3 weeks. It's very painful. Could this be hernia? I can't see any swelling, but tummy is still quite swollen after all of my surgeries.

Don't forget, the muscles they cut for the surgery are connected to your lower back. I'm sorry for all you've gone through but it will take at least 6 months for the muscles and nerves to heal. I still have about 1 1/2 months of wearing my binder, then with doctors blessing start low impact exercises.
