Herniated Disc

Ok, Sorry to message you all again but I need some help.

I herniated my disc in september 13. Had MRI in Jan 14 showing large herniation in l5s1. Had discectomy and laminectomy in april 14. Hurt my back in Oct 14 and had another MRI in Dec 14. The new MRI shows a large herniation at the same place. Now is it the same herniation and the discectomy just shaved a bit off or is it a new herniation on the same disc? I include an image of my recent MRI

Hi,  we are currently on the first steps, hopefully, of trying to gt a neurostimulator for my husband,  has it helped you and was it a long process to get it.  We are having to go on NHS, did you, if you don't mind me asking.  Also did you use a tens machine first and did it help, this is what they are recommending for my husband, although I will be surprised if it helps, he had his spine injury 5 years ago and on loads of tablets which still don't control the pain.
