Herpes??

i went to the er two days ago and got swabbed for HsV-2 , doc told me it didnt look like herpes just a uti and vaginitis & now i see two more blisters..

    It looks and sounds like herpes. It is appearing unilaterally? Seems so from the picture, but just want clarification in case there's more we can't see. If it is unilateral, personally I'd say that further points to herpes. Do you already have cold sores? If not, the lab should be testing the sample for both HSV-1 and 2. Genital herpes does not automatically = HSV-2, in fact, new cases of genital herpes are about 50/50 type 1 and 2 nowadays.

      it was just the one but ive been touching and touching since i have been home bc i have been scared and trying to make sure nothing else is goin on down there. the nurse and doctor both told me thats not what herpes appears as and that theyre vaginitis sores. im going to get a pelvic exam in the AM

    See a specialist. It's very hard to get a diagnosis visually. All doctors have have a different opinion. Go get a culture done as soon as you see another lesion. Within the first two days. The sooner the better!

    I am no doctor, but that does look like herpes. I hope nope, but you need a culture or swab asap!

    you need an obgyn stop going to the er wasting money. go to someone who sees vaginas everyday. those blisters are very questionable so i can see why you suspect herpes.
