    Does look typical of herpes.

80% of people don’t have symptomatic outbreaks or any outbreaks at all!

If your worried get it checked by your doctor

wow so you are just using "80%" for any thing related to herpes

You need to get a life! Trolling around a site like this! Do you just want to reply to all my comments?

Read anything I’ve posted people! 80% or if you want to be more pedantic 87.4% of people have HSV1 or HSV2 from the ages of 14-49 with out ever having a diagnoses because they are asymptotic or have symptoms that aren’t the usual HSV symptoms! Thats from the CDC. So I will use 80%. I’ll use what I want, just like use what you want!

mam,i do have a life, the real issue here is not the number but it's the message you are spreading to people. i live in a country where if you test positive for hiv you systematically get your result (informing you that you have a dangerous incurable virus..etc) and then you meet a psychiatric which will try to make you feel better BUT still wont try to make false scientific claims or call it with a different name.

maybe this topic is a bit personal to you but we must not change facts to feel good.i saw copd patients, what would you answer if they ask you "would i get better? would i ever breath for a moment without feeling all this tightness?...it's sad but you are obliged to say the things as it is. 1/3 of people on earth have latent tb but of course have no symptoms, does that ridiculise it ? more than 90% of polio patient had no symptoms but still infected others, does that make it normal cause it's common?

i would recommend that you go on reddit and see how much people got eyes complications from herpes and see how many others are not disclosing and infecting more because as you said "it's not a big deal,a lot of people have it".

All I said was 80% of people living with genital herpes do not know they have it.. which is the truth? It’s not just in works by the cdc. Im not making false claims. The majority of hsv is spread to asymptomatic shedding from people who do not know they have it. I’ve said to you before I’ve met with many doctors and specialist since my diagnosis the majority of which have given me the same information. Many doctors don’t make hsv testing available to people and it’s not tested for routinely so why don’t you ask them questions? Clearly because the medical field do not find genital herpes a major deal in compared to other issues.

Using a example of copd is very out of context. Copd is something that gets worse, that effects you physically, that worsens your quality of life. Genital herpes is not like this at all and if you think a chronic respiratory issues is anything like how this virus is then I suggest who go meet with people with both and ask them to compare their lives!

Also as I have said before genital herpes to me and many others is not a big deal it doesn’t stop me from doing anything.

I know how many people are not disclosing how do you think myself and so many others got it. You can read all the articles, books and stuff you want! I live with it I know what it’s like to go through all of this. Don’t you dare tell me what it’s like to be in my situation when you know only what books and articles say.

You only ever comment in sexual health and genital herpes. For someone who doesn’t have it it’s a bit obsessive don’t you think? I don’t need to answer to you. I’m medical professional with years of experience. I am in contact with many specialists in sexual health and infections disease and I also have first hand experience as I have it.

This is the last interaction I will have with you!

all your comments about herpes is political correct comments, you never mentionned any complication you could have from!!! you having no complicaiton fine!im happy for you but stop the missinformation!! watching television from a close place will reduce your vision and we all know it and avoid it, but having a virus that can make you blind..no it's cool, its not a big deal.

i did not say that your number was fake, but i said that you did not provide all the info to make that number right ( you should have said in the usa,in the age between ** )

-any doctor who told you that hsv 2 is not a big deal is not a professional (period)

-when i mentionned copd,i meant that we should never fake the facts to make patients feels better.

      • "For someone who doesn’t have it it’s a bit obsessive don’t you think?" ill go get infected then so i can participate here. as i said i do participate in many forums on internet.
      • as you said this is not hsv positive people club, this is a place to talk and ask for diagnosis for virus,it's not an tumblr
      • i think im making an idea why hsv 2 in usa is higher than most countries and that there are epedemics of infectious viruses in a first world country.
      • teens are getting hiv because they see positive people making hiv ridiculous (oh it's just one pill,it doesnt stop me from doing anything..). you are doing the same.it's fine to say that to your own brain to make you relax but dont spread it on internet.
      • all i wish that you are not also spreading wrong messages on other forums, have a good day.
