I'm in the same boat currently with bumps on my thighs and buttocks and my doctor said they were from heat but I'm not convinced. I've been using witch hazel to clean, tea tree oil as a topical, and Living Clay as well. They go away fairly quickly until more appear. I've been treated them as herpes (rather safe than sorry) you can also see about getting them swabbed. In regards to an itchy anus, clean with witch hazel. That living clay feels good there too. (I have hemorrhoids lol)

You're welcome! Sodium bentonite clay! (Indian healing clay) I ordered 5# on Amazon for like $20. It's seriously amazing. Look into it!

Good to know I never had those before I was diagnosed and now get them. I'll try the witch hazel.

Herpes can appear anywhere in the "boxer region". I was diagnosed with genital HSV1 a month ago and have just been doing research. After cleaning with the witch hazel I really suggest getting some tea tree oil. Its inexpensive and amazing

I use tea tree oil a lot more do after the itch subsides. I don't get OB as much as I did when first diagnosed. But I keep my kit full of epsom salts polysporin tea tree and lidocaine/xylocaine. And now witch hazel.

I use baby unscented baby wipes to clean the areas that itch. That seems to help short term. I've had itching in the past, before I got herpes and linked it to my sugar intake so I think at least some of it may be candida for me. Acidophilus helps with that, along with avoiding sugar. Not sure how much of my current itching is that and how much is the herpes healing. It's all in the boxer region and is killing me!
