Hello I recently had sex with a friend I knew she had herpes, but I still had sex with her I used a condom but it broke I wasn't penetrating for long with the condom broken can I still get infected?

    For hsv2 without symptoms there is a 4 percent transmission rate. If you are super concerned go get tested after 12 weeks via igg or western blot. The reality is there is a 2 percent transmission rate per year with condoms for males. Thats normally with couples that have a normal sex life. 1 and 4 gitld have it and 1 in 5 males. 80 percent dont know. So there is always a chance.

      Thank you for your help and I went  to the doctor and  I'm clean I was just worried a time the moment and didn't I know what to do

    There's always a risk, but the odd are less if the exposure was brief. Also, if she wasn't having an outbreak or otherwise shedding at the time, you should be okay. Hard to know if one's shedding, however, add it can occur without symptoms.
