Herpes diagnosis

My heart is breaking. I left my ex over a year ago after finding out he was cheating. The woman it was with contacted me a few weeks ago to say she had herpes but he had no intentions of letting me know. So i had a blood test and its positive for hsv2.

Ive been seeing this amazing man for 8 months and i have been honest and told him the situation. He's become really withdrawn yet was totally clueless about it. We talked for hours about it and I have tried to tell him everything the dr said. i've not had an outbreak but he has said he will see how he feels about our relationship if and when that time comes. I dont know what to do. I have fallen so in love with him, I trust him with my life and my children.

I had a full check about 6 months before i left the ex as i had a feeling he was cheating. Im not sure what to say or do. I am beyond lost. I honestly thought i had finally found my happy ending at the age of 37 with nothing but a past of cheating partners. I actually want to give up on everything

hi! the same thing has happened to me. 8

I'm 18 years old and my ex cheated on me. I just recently found out last week and I have been having symptoms. i have a tear and a bunch or sores in my perineum area and I am so terrified that I actually have herpes. my mom said she thinks it is herpes and that I should not be ashamed of it that 9/10 people have herpes. it made me feel better but I am still very upset and have been crying all day just thinking about if I have herpes.
