Herpes, Haemorrhoid, or Both?

Posted , 3 users are following.

It bas been about 4 days after my anal area started itching after releasing bowel movements, over the last two days the itching has gotten worse. It is so itchy it might as well be painful. both photos span a day apart

Here is where I am confused — I have HSV1, on my vagina, I have never had it around the anus, so I am unsure if it is herpes. I also cannot tell if there is a pile or not. imageimage

photos are VERY small so its hard to tell but based on your description herpes can definitely spread from your genitals to other areas

Currently have another waiting to be approved! The doctor said she doesnt believe it to be an outbreak as she said they tend to stay in the same area.

I was given Scheriproct which is REALLY helping, especially with the bumps. So I feel the irritation from the pile may have caused some eczema, as the blisters have gone down in size and today was the first day I didnt wake up in pain.

New photo is much clearer and its much more obviously hemorrhoids! Congrats on the good news but be careful, hemorrhoids are very easily aggrivated. Try not to sit for long periods, stay out of hot weather and creams like Scheriproct are your friend. If you must sit they make special pillows! Good luck!
