Herpes?! Help please

Hello all! I recently had unprotected sex about a month ago on 3/19/22. For reference, before that, I last had sex July 2020 and was HSV tested Oct 2020 (which was neg both types).

Around the beginning of April, I started to get itchy around my perineum and noticed my skin would peel a bit whenever I wipe to use the bathroom. The peeling kept gradually increasing and the itchiness remained the same over the days. I also noticed I had small paper-cut like tears around the opening of my vagina but I wasn't worried about it bc I usually get a random tear or two that'll heal spontaneously. When this first occurred, I suspected herpes but got tested regularly and they always came back negative.

Now, with the itching and peeling, I'm starting to get worried. The itchiness isn't anything unbearable its just a nuisance. And the peeling left a red mark behind around my perineum. I also haven't had any of the "normal" blisters and other flu symptoms that are common. I have an appt next week to get tested but need some opinions in the mean time.

The pictures attached are taken on 4/16 when I woke up. The skin was dry and that's what it looked like. The next picture is after I moisturized it and you can see the redness. Lastly are pictures from today. One has circles where the small cute are (but I couldn't really get it in the pic) and the other is when its partially dry again

still doesnt look like traditional herpes but try and get the area swabbed if you can.

lichen sclerosus mimics herpes symptoms and can cause tearing and ulcers. You do have some white skin. I would get them swabbed asap to get heroes out the way and then look into a dermotologist to get a biopsy for lichen

did you get a diagnosis? Is it any better? Did it heal any?

It is better! Not itchy anymore and it looks like the tears healed. The doctor said she thinks it may have been yeast dermatitis. But waiting for lab confirmation
