Ok so I was just diagnosed with ghsv1 . Getting over my first outbreak, everything seems clear minus ITCHING !!! my but itches ! Wtf

How would I see them if they are inside my but hole ? Like I hate even saying that lol it's funny but it's not. My ass cheeks are itching and I noticed a bit of tingling in inner thigh... could this be lingering symptoms from first ob. I haven't seen any sores for several days . So idk how long To expect symptoms to linger

Aww ok well if its a constant discomfort of itching and tingling it maybe the problem bumps don't always appears

Herpes can cause itching before or following an outbreak, so that could be the case here. It should resolve on its own. I wouldn't put anything on it, since it's internal. Just wait it out. Also, once infected genitally, the whole boxer shorts area is a potential outbreak zone, just fyi, although it usually recurs on the genitals at or near the original outbreak site.
