Herpes or friction cut infection?

Posted , 6 users are following.

Got some friction cuts from sex , came home and used Vaseline and had a bad break out (it looked like white colored skin tags ) stop using the Vaseline and the "skin tags" started to heal...Used the Vaseline again and the "skin tags " came back , stopped using the Vaseline and it went away....Now it looks like this and I'm scared it's something worse like herpes although my Boyfriend says he doesn't have anything....1st Pic Was Taken On The 5th...2nd Pic Taken on the 7th(after i stopped using the Vaseline for the second time ) And 3rd pic took today...It hasnt blistered up or anything and really only hurts when something is rubbed against it or if urine touches it ....Wtf is this ? I'm hoping it's just a skin infection .!imageimageFile size is too big

I forgot to mention , I used some anti itch cream before I broke out thinking it would help but instead it ended up burning me ...Im thinking that's where its coming from plus me having an allergic reaction to the Vaseline .

I really dont think it is...i have a bad uti..and with the Vaseline and the anti itch cream that burned me i think the friction cuts got infected. Gonna go ahead and get tested anyway ...I never had any puss filled bumps or anything and they havent crusted over .

how did you find out you had herpes ? Where were your symptoms?....I didnt start noticing whatever infection i have until i tried to treat my friction cuts... I've tried alot of stuff and the more i try the worse it gets smh ...So basically it didnt look like that until i started putting stuff on it.

That's why i don't think its herpes...i think its more of a skin infection/reaction...I tried to soothe my friction cuts and used sooooo many things ( Scented Vaseline , Diaper rash cream , anti itch cream , hydrocodone , cortisone cream , browned flour ect...)

It started off with the lil white skin tag looking things then when i stopped using the Vaseline it looked like the second pic...then i used the Vaseline again and i got the lil skin tag looking things stopped using it and not even 24hrs later the little skin tag things were gone and it looked like the second pic again...I tried using alot of stuff to heal it completely which turned into the last pic

well for one it was painful! it didnt feel right a few days after sex! it felt swollen and then i could feel little bumps but they werent like filled with anything!

then they turned into little ulcer like sores! everything i tried didnt work until i got valtrex!

i never experienced itch until my second outbreak!

regardless what it is you need to to a doctor! if the wounds are not healing you are leaving your self open to becoming unwell! bacteria loves an enviroment like the vagina! along with being next to were you pass urine and go to the toilet you run the risk of getting a nasty infection'
