Herpes or maybe something else?

I've tested negative for HSV-1, and HSV-2 mid 2020. I got out of a longterm relationship and havent gotten back out on the dating scene until recently. I met someone from work, we went on a few dates and slept with each other. About a week later, I started feeling an itching sensation in my groin. I didn't think much of it, I workout often and thought it was normal irritations. long story short, i looked at the area and saw this. I didnt, see blisters, or fluid. i appreciate your thoughts.image

    Is this on the shaft? It can be a fungal infection or anything else. It's either best to go and get checked or take an IGG test for type 1 and 2 in about three months.

      it is on the lower shaft, that's my plan. I appreciate your message.
