i did a blood test & waiting to get results back. my symptoms of irritation cleared up once i started taking my antibiotics. also, i am very sensitive down there & prone to ingrown & acne.

It looks like it, i'm afraid.

Herpes doesn't always look like the standard clustered bumps.

Doctors often misdiagnosed herpes as they're not gynaecologists.. mine misdiagnosed me twice and said i had BV and gave me antibiotics which cleared up the unusual discharge but i was in so much pain that i went to the sexual health clinic and they confirmed that i had herpes (my blisters/spots looked sinilar to yours) gave me antivirals which healed my skin very quickly.

Get yourself to the sexual health clinic to get swabbed before the blisters/spots heal.. it'll be the best thing for you.

Do you have flu like symptoms.. body ache, fever, fatigue, swollen groin lymph nodes?

Do you mean the pink spots in the vagina or black ones around please?

i went to my gyn while waiting for my blood work & bc the sores were already healed, she couldn't swab them. she did give me an exam & said despite the sores, she wasn't concerned that it was herpes. also, i am super sensitive & leading up to the irritation i started using new feminine wipes & pads.

once i started taking the antibiotic for bv everything cleared up. i read that if this was herpes the antibiotic wouldn't have done anything. also, i never had flu like symptoms, body aches, swollen lymph modes, & the sores or whatever it was is gone.

update blood test came back & i am negative for HSV 1 & HSV2

That is wonderful that your bloodwork came back negative BUT be mindful that if you test too early after exposure you can receive a false negative. The best timeframe to test is 3 months after exposure. If it was before the 3 months mark I highly recommend retesting.
