Herpes or razor burn bumps

Posted , 3 users are following.

Woke up a few days ago to some bumps above. Have to shaved in a while and I shaved down there the week before. Could this be herpes or razor burn bumps. I haven't had any of the symptoms for herpes and they don't appear to be breaking, oozing or anything.

Photo link just approved by site admin now, so I had a look. Do those bumps look like blisters in person? Or are they "solid"?

They feel and look more solid then blisters but in a way look like blisters

That's why I asked, because I couldn't quite tell which! If they don't turn into blisters and remain, it could be molluscum, which forms fleshy bumps that can look kinda blistery. Just a guess, though!

Could be anything and nothing at this point! If you have no other symptoms, it's best to simply keep an eye on the bumps, see how they progress over the next few days, and don't touch or irritate them. If herpes, they should turn blistery in 2-4 days, then burst, ulcerate, crust, scab, etc. If they just go down and disappear, then it's probably just a rash, etc.

really could be anything. My symptoms looked like two ingrown hairs and I did not experience any pain, blistering, scabbing or oozing. Sometimes its just best to go for peace of mind! not everyone has the same symptoms and for many they are mild. Just keep an eye on it smile
