ive been taking treatment for herpes without getting tested just to be safe because im wasnt able to get checked by a professional until today. Its been 2 days since then and the sores havent changed the irritation just went down so is it something? They really appeared out of nowhere like no blisters or anything and it seems to have just came up wherever i shaved at. Can someone please respond...

look as though it could be herpes and a yeast infection. it can take a few days for antivirals to kick in

*If the treatment for herpes made a slight difference then it might be herpes but bear in mind that most people with genital herpes also get yeast infection as herpes make your genitals vulnerable to secondary infections.

*Not all people get classic herpes symptoms.

    • as for shaving many people with herpes reported getting flare ups after removing hair
    • i would strongly advised to get a test when it is next possible. Please refrain from having sex until you know for sure if you are STI free. If it is herpes then there is no cure and you can still infect your partner even when you do not have outbreaks. Yeast infection however can be cured

im also taking medication for a bacteria infection so i think that played a major part in the painful urine and irritation, yeast too. the only thing that hurts now is the sores if i get pee on them but i have got tested..just waiting on the results.

you can have more than one infection at once. Only thing you can do is wait for results. All sores arent herpes.
