Herpes or yeast?

image I had sex with my long term bf (6 years) felt like my perineum was torn a little then 2 days later I got all of these sores. I've never had a yeast infection dont know what is expected. I'm 99.9% sure my bf hasn't been with anyone else nor have I. I am petrified of going to the gyno for it because it hurts so bad I can't even think about how excruciating it would be to get a pelvic right now. not to mention I lost my job 2 weeks ago so I no longer have health insurance and funds are extremely low. do you think this could just be a yeast infection? I did use monistat 1 yesterday and so far haven't had any relief... ps sorry about the tamp string. the day the sores showed up so did my period. I have since been wearing pads.image

That doesnt look like a yeast infection but it does look like Herpes sores. Both you and your partner need to be treated. Can you get to an STI clinic? make sure your partner understands the situation and is treated as well. You could ask in a pharmacy for advice on what is available for treatment.
