i keep getting these strange little patches of itchy rashes every so often, sometimes just before my period or after ive shaved. does it look like herpes or something else? ive booked an appointment to be checked but im just a bit anxious. ive thought ive had a yeast infection for a while now after having my iud removed but more of a watery discharge. please help 😦

Hi, have you been using any product like summers eve to wash your vagina or wipe clean ? or new soap detergent ? It doesn't look like herpes and yeast infections can cause little bumps however you seem to be getting them regularly now. Are they always on the sane area ?

i did yes but only after i started having these symptoms i got a sensitive skin wash to see if that would help. i didnt make it any worse but it didnt help so i stopped using it. they dont always come back in the same spots, when they do show up its more of an irritated rash and only shows up when i get the strange discharge like its the discharge that is irritating my skin. it seems to come and go through out the month and sometimes have paper cut like cuts

i do think that your skin becoming irritated and developing cuts is because of your discharge. This sometimes occurs when you have a yeast infection. Are you having a lot of discharge and if you do are you feeling more moist than normal ?

all the symptoms that ive read up on do relate to yeast infection but the discharge is more watery or creamy with a strange smell sometimes rather than the typical yi discharge. Thats where im confused? when these symptoms first started i went to get them checked and had swabs done for yeast, bv and sti test and the only thing that came back was that i tested postive for trich which i was treated for, i went back a few weeks later because the symptoms only cleared for a week or so, so i got a second does and same thing happened and havent been back since and the symptoms seem to come and go now throughout the month leading up to my period and in the way discharge changes throughout the month! So its made me wonder that it wasnt the trich in the first place that was causing this and its been something else that the test wasnt able to pick up on, or the antibiotics i was given werent affective, or the antibiotics have caused some other issue, idk im so confused and ive driven myself crazy trying to google this all lol. i do have an appointment booked but earliest i could get was the end of the month so i was just looking for some advice. There is a lot of discharge sometimes and it does cause a lot of moistness, sometimes i wear a tampon just to soak it up. i just want to feel normal again 😦 this is taking away a lot of my confidence

also when the irritation does happen or the cuts appear it clears up after a day or 2 even if i still have the strange discharge
