Herpes or Yeast Infection Sores? (picture)

Four days ago I had sex with my boyfriend, I haven't seen him in over a week so the sex was pretty intense. He's a good size, so usually we have to use lube, but we didn't use as much as we normally do.

Three days ago I started to experience pain, swelling, light bleeding, and pain when urinating, and itchiness. Two days ago I decided to take a look and found these ulcer like things on the opening of my vagina. I still have all the symptoms but the swelling is gone, and the pain and all isn't as bad as it was. There is a an odor too. They're starting to look yellow, but I can't wear a tampon so I'm not sure if that's because of the blood or not. 

Please help!!  Does this look like herpes, or could this be sores that my yeast infection has gotten in to?

    It honestly looks like both but mostly yeast because of the itchiness and all that describing is both yeast and herpes. So the only way to actually put your mind at ease is to get tested in a couple weeks or months for herpes 1/2 Igg/ Igm and pay close attention to it and see the changes.

    But it looks like friction from sex as well. And you describe a vagina odor which is caused by BV .. deff get checked it and keep us updated

    I had rough sex and had the same symptoms afterward. I wasn’t sure if it was herpes or a yeast infection but it ended up being herpes. It looks like it could  be herpes based off the appearance but the only way to know forsure is to get a herpes culture. Sometimes herpes and yeast infections can look similar. Herpes can present itself in various ways and locations. Please go to a doctor ASAP!

    Its very hard to tell bc the photo is blurry. Anyways some people can have herpes and not know it but have an outbreak months or even years down the line.

    I woke up after having sex with my partner one morning with very similar looking sores. I was sure it had to be herpes and my doctor was thinking the same, however we did a herpes test and it came back negative. It seems that it could just be I was a little too dry last time, which I do struggle with because of my birth control.

    Get tested! Everything will be okay.

      i have the similar. did you get a swab done? i just got mine swabbed today and so nervous

    hi, did u get it checked? ive smth like yours with like a mouth ulcer look alike on my perineum and this happened bfr back in 2018 oct and i got it checked after the ulcer was gone with a blood test, everything was negative but this time round, ive checked with a swab in another clinic since the prev one was closed, and it came out positive for hsv2 but this current partner that im with only had sex with his ex wife and that was all.. so the docs told me that blood test is not always accurate which was the one i did in 2018, and a swab shld be more accurate but im thinking to go to another clinic for a blood test since the ulcer was gone last week. very hard to accept this bcs dont herpes look like a cluster of blisters and not just a singular ulcer with the one i had? furthermore i had yeast inf/thrush when i had the ulcer, could they have mistaken it? image

      Please i'm having similar symptoms, did it really turn out to be hsv?
