Herpes outbreak?

Hello!

I was diagnosed with herpes type 1 just over 3 years ago and i think i experienced my second ever outbreak last week. I took a course of antivirals (5 days) but a day after i finish the course and the outbreak was all cleared up. i start feel like I'm getting a rash or something between my bum (not where the original outbreak just was) . I look and the skin looked really irritated but it has what looks like blisters. The irritation seems to have gone (it was on both sides) and on one side it looks like potentially sores before they pop. However they don't hurt and i didn't get an itchy feeling before anything developed. As it has been so long since my first outbreak i feel unsure about what I'm looking for. Could this be another outbreak? Is it normal to potentially get another outbreak after just finishing a course of antivirals?
