Herpes sore or a sore from shaving? RESPOND ASAP!

Another problem! I recently just shaved about two days ago and today I got this sore after itching. My vulva has been super irritated and red after I shaved. I think the sore may be due to scratching or from the use of a rusty razor. My boyfriend has never had a cold sore and he doesn't have HSV-1 and we've only engaged in oral. I haven't done any sort of oral in about 2 and a half weeks so I don't think it's herpes but the back of my head always wants to scare me and tell me the worst case scenario. And after oral i've never had any sort of issues or blisters or anything show up. It doesn't burn when I touch it or when i urinate it just itches so bad. I'm going to the gyno Tuesday to see what's up but I would like some advice from y'all super quick! What do you guys think? Herpes or a rash or razor burn from shaving.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK IT IS ASAP I'm kinda freaking out and I don't know why I am. One second ill think that sore or cut came from scratching or a bad razor and then the next second ill freak out and think it's herpes. I got it two days after shaving and I got it after I scratched it, because my vulva has been super itchy after shaving it wasn't itchy before shaving. It might be a rash I don't know yet someone HELP! Here is a better photo I had to compress the photo because the file size is too big so it doesn't look as red in that photo but it's a little more red than in the picture.

hey this happened to me too and im super scared! i shaved with old rusty razor and a bunch of bumps started popping up as my hair started growing i feel like wearing tight leggings and a thong made it much more irritated on top of that me and my bf had sex. im still waiting for results

I'm a virgin so I don't think mine is herpes to be honest but I still want some advice since I'm scared. But has your boyfriend had any other partners he's had sex with? Or does he have Genital Herpes? I'm sorry I cant help since we have the same situation right now except I haven't had sex! When I find out what it is I will let you know! It's most likely irritation or a rash or the cut from scratching. And those white bumps I have I'm not worried about those since those are fordyce spots. What I worried about is that cut or sore I have circled in the first photo.

i doubt thats herpes! it can just be irritation from itching and shaving with a rusty razor the same happened to me:(

Mine was simply a rash from shaving. and oh no! Are you ok? How are you putting up with the news?

mine was a rash from shaving too but they realized that i had a lesion in my vag and im guessing i got it from my boyfriend when it was active, im ok! in a way im just trying to relieve myself that its not hsv 2 it wouldve been worse.

my boyfriend didnt know he had hsv 1 until i told him about the news we were both shocked but we'll be ok!

Its been three years so I hope you've learned this already. Nearly 100% of the population has HSV 1. It's just a cold sore and not a big deal at all. Most people don't even have symptoms. Just don't kiss anyone or give oral while you have one. Its highly unlikely that you'll pass it to a private area however it's better to be safe than sorry.
