Herpes testing

A girl that i know had an IgG test for herpes and tested negative. The last time she gave oral sex was 2 months ago. It was a blood and swab test. Is this test accurate?

Already explained the IgG test thoroughly to you, so that doesn't require an answer. Not from me anyway. Swab test? Depends on the type of swab test, but then she didn't have any symptoms, so that was essentially a waste of time no matter the test type. Still incredulous that you had her go get tested when you were the one with the blisters yet did nothing. Smh

Bottom line, and once again, you're at no risk for Type 2 and it's unlikely to be Type 1, unless she is one of the ones that IgG misses or is slow to seroconvert, but the odds are she's truly negative. You may already have asymptomatic oral HSV-1 yourself, in which case you'd be largely immune, so why don't you get tested to find out? Your symptoms sound like bad irritation/friction burns from an even worse BJ.

I found out that it was just irritation from the bad oral. It went away instantly as soon as I applied zinc oxide from diaper rash cream. Thank goodness

Good! It didn't really sound like herpes. Should you ever have symptoms in future, for whatever, get tested yourself while the symptoms are present, rather than only relying on the other person to test. Much more accurate!

Also, it doesn't matter when she last gave oral. Oral HSV-1 is primarily acquired from mouth kissing.
