Yes i have a positive hsv1 38.6 and hsv2 equivocal <1.09. Blood tests arent realiable unless youre having a real outbrak

It's likely to be a timing issue. It takes several months following the Herpes exposure for antibodies to develop. Only then will the test turn positive.
You have learnt something from the tests though. You haven't had any old exposure to Herpes.

so basically youre saying that even though my results on both tests were negative i still could have herpes ? i thought igm was used for recent exposure and igg stays forever

igm is to never be used. It takes 12-16 weeks to make enough antibodies. The igg hsv1 is about 70% accurate and hsv2 is about 92% accurate

The blood tests don't pick up recent infection.
If you get what looks like an outbreak best get it swabbed within the first 2-3 days
