Herpes type 2 appearing at random places on my body

Hey,
I contracted herpes this summer. I was devastated at first, but having contracted the virus, I've finally come to accept.
I first noticed an outbreak on my nose and by the vulva appearing at the same time. I went to the gyno, and the test results showed it was herpes type 2.. Now what I'm confused about is why it's appearing on completely random places? I get an outbreak about every 2 weeks, and they are mostly on my nose, has only been by the vulva 2 times, has appeared a few times on my left hip and now on my right shoulder. Does anybody know? Frequent outbreaks are so frustrating. I hope this gets better..

In my case the sores appear mostly on my back, right lower shoulder and right arm but never on genital (thank God). It is always itchy and no pain. The swab test on my back showed HSV2 and blood test last year also indicated HSV. I must have caught it by skin contact as I always use condoms.
As on question on frequency, have you seen a doctor? If the frequency of attacks is more than 6 to 9 times a year then good doctors should put you on anti-viral (like Valtrex) and frequency will be reduced by 80% and so will the severity. After 2 years apparently the frquency of attacks is reduced as the body learns to fight back against this damn virus.

Yes I agree if the OP hasn't done a swab test then she should as soon as possible. Otherwise how she could know it is herpes. There could be so many other skin problems most curable by antibiotics.
