was away for a few days there, the medication seems to have settled down now. its good. still getting that sinking feeling coming on but it never gets too far, its still shite to be honest but a lot better all the same.
got in touch with my local ptsd helpline but they havent gotten back to me yet with any details on possible cbt therapy but i will certainly go through with it and give it a try!
its weird, the driving thing but its like fainting, you get a chance to pull over but thats about it! i think its all stress related, my father passed away about 18months ago and it got progressively worse until my best friend was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago and thats when it really started bad.
i suppose life is all peaks and troughs and this is the downward end, a bit of sunshine and back on the lough will do wonders!!!!! oh, and the g+t will play a small but significant part too i think!

Well I have just been perscribed these things for the panic attackes I have been having recently that have been keeping me housebound which is not like me at all! What has scared me is your bit about driving and passing out - what would have happened if you'd been on motorway or something. I drive all the time usually as part of my job. REading all the side effects has put me off. First one today so down the hatch!!
Hope you get better and will hopefully be able to post in a couple of days to say no side effects yet!

If you feel that a symptom is due to a side effect of a medicine that you have taken then you may wish to report it to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) via their yellow card scheme - http://www.mhra.gov.uk/Safetyinformation/Reportingsafetyproblems/Medicines/index.htm

Im on it and I felt significantly fainter to begin with and this is an expected symptom, however it goes eventually.. your best bet is to start it over the weekend but if possible take a week off work and use that time i would suggest, or use public transport to get to work just to be sure.
I dunno what you guys are like,.. but i didn't hesitate to take my prescription because my symptoms without it are unbearable! jeesh.
