hey I'm back guys!

it's been a long wait but finally I saw my neurologist on Saturday and he has put me forward for another MRI scan to follow the trigeminal nerve to see if anything is pressing on it. I am now on 1200mg carbamazepine and just starting gabapentin. I had a great 21st birthday and didn't let TN ruin it for me which I'm really happy about. still in a lot of pain and have bad Attacks 2-3 times daily but I am slowly getting sorted. I hope everyone else is coping ok!

    With TN you never know, however I am pleased you got through you 21st, happy birthday .         Carbamazepine land Gabapentine held mine for several years however I gave now had Lamotridgene added. Everyone is different so if it works for you then go for it.    Do you got the striking pains in your mouth and teeth or face and head.           Join TN.    UK.      You will find it on line and it is a woundeful group to join as most peopl on there help line have TN and know what it feels like.          Keep your stree level as low as possible as well.  It dosent cause a flare up but it can certainly make it worse.
