hey. I've been with my partner for 8yrs and I've never experienced bv until now.

We started long distance at first and the Dr said that's what's wrong. That my vagina isn't use to his semen. I can't stand the smell. He says he doesn't smell anything I think because he doesn't want me to be uncomfortable. The medicine makes me sick or causes yeast. Please help me. I've douched with vinegar and water sometimes... But that is all. We have sex everyday and sometimes twice a day. He enjoys oral sex and doesn't believe that it can cause bv. Please help me find a cure.

Hey jay1222 I have had a 4 year bout with bv and wished I knew the cure was so simple. I tried everything and nithing worked except greek yogurt which cured the problem. I eat a 1 each day and have had no further bouts with bv or yeast, I hope this helps as I had tried everything and was ready to give up smile

Hi shellie617. Thanks for the help. I feared everyone might be say yogurt and I can't stand the stuff. I know they say don't douche but I heard cider vinegar 3 times a day.... What do you think?

I tried Braggs organic apple cider vinegar but I drank it first thing in the morning, 1 cap full in 4 ounces of water and it seemed to work then I had sex 2 days in sucession and got a slight odor down there so I had a course of prescibed flagl and started the greek yogurt a week later and I never liked yogurt myself but I must say 3 months later no bv and no yeast, its a matter of ginding what works and sticking to that regimen. The vinegar may work give it a try smile

Hi.  I would say that your Doctor is simply avoiding the issue!  "Not used to his semen" indeed.  I would strongl suggest that you get referred to a gynaecologist.

Boyfriend seems very supportive and it "might" be necessary for him to be seen too.

There is a theory that "live yogurt" can be used not by eating it but vaginally!  May work!   Best of luck
