I've just started orlistat as of yesterday and a bit nervous as what to expect!!!

I have PCOS and am really struggling to lose weight, so the doctors have put me on these hoping they will help!!!

    its good to know im not alone!!!

    really is!!!

    (have a quick question, ummmmm, is it normal to take the tablet the night before with last meal, but not have the effect until the next morning, if you know what i mean?!)

    the effects aren't immediate and varies in how long they take to appear if in fact they will

    i only asked because i had tea last night

    nothing this morning as in a rush to get kids to school and nursery

    and then, went to loo and saw the effects lol

    sorry if to much info!!!!

    but in a way im relieved to know they work!!!

    ahh yes it won't be instant but if you have had oily/orange stools then you have gone over the 15g's or 30g's allowance for the day so you need to look at what you ate yesterday and see where the fat content took you over.

    I've been on them since July 09 and they react differently to different people. I know if i've eaten too much fat, i don't see the results until two days later, some people are the next day and some even later the same day.

    Not sure why it varies but its like the weight loss on them, some people it drops off, some people (like me) it seems to some off slowly but surely
