Hi ladies. Right you dialog need to get to a rheumatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. It took me years to find out what was wrong with me. Reactive arthritis and fibro great combo. I take pregabilin which a rheumy is most likely person to prescribe. Does it help with the pain? Well I think it helps me sore which is vital with fibro as lack of good deep sleep causes the vicious cycle of symptoms. You could try something alternative to help with the low mood/depression 5htp. But check out with person in health shop or pharmacist in case it doesn't go with other meds u take. I took ibuprofen for ages til it really started to hurt my stomach so manage in the occasional codeine at night right now. Good luck keep posting and get to see a specialist. If you feel this bad that's vital. VJ x

detected in the blood Brucella ... it is important that the test was done Elisa kit or rose bengal ...

    slow agglutination is not enough!

Sevgul, I have all of those things. My doctor sent me to a rhuematologist .After doing some tests he said its likely i have Fibro. Put me on a generic form of Lyrica called Gabapentin. I still have stiffness during day but it helps if im active. (not too active or I will pay dearly) What really made a difference is the pain down my legs feet and hips at night, It is next to none. I am supposed to take it three times a day but find it makes me too drowsy at work so I just take it before bed. I also take clonozapam for anxiety. Effexor for depression. I dont like taking pills but guess I need to suck it up. Doc said fibro pain is caused by our nerves that is why traditional pain meds like ibuprofen or strong tylenol do not work. What Im still struggling with is, I cant speak, my words are all mixed up and I cant remember things at all. Not even enough to have conversations because i forget the details halfway through. So I avoid talking to people. Does anyone else have this??? I hope you can find the right meds for you. No more codein. Hang in there!

Hi Joan, How are you doing? I was thinking about you and how you said you cant stop crying and it brought me back to when i was put on a new anti depressant (zoloft)and in conflicted with my anxiety meds and caused me to have thoughts I dont normally have. I couldnt control the crying and im not usually a cryer. My husband drove me to the hospital and they admitted me for a wk. (guess thats standard when you have thoughts of suicide) While under their supervision they found the right combination of meds for me. Just thought id mention in case you're taking these types of meds. I know they dont help the pain though. By the way, is it just me or does anyone else forget their password EVERY time they log on...geeze!

      Thanks Janet,

not taking anything only clonasapam because I have essential tremor, went to Hospital for Botox injections have had them for about 20 years every 2 months but would not give me them because anxiety is to high .

He is writing to GP but to be fair I cannot take any meds so it's from one to another.

Having a bad time 3 years in August but hey ho lots of us like it not alone

    Hi sevgul,

I haven't been diagnosed with fibro so I would like to get others opinions on the matter. One doctor i saw mentioned it but all since have been very dismissive. I have constant pain in my thigh and usually in my ankle too. I have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome and plantar faciitis, i have no energy and sometimes cannot even get out of bed because of exhaustion and pain.Despite a fairly high IQ, sometimes i can't string a sentence together. I have headaches and stomach problems too. My doctor has for the past few years ordered and reordered blood tests of all sorts and can't give me any answers. I must be a nightmare to live with and when i have to have time off work i get sarcastic remarks from one of my colleagues. I'm sure people think i'm a hypochondriac. Don't really know how long i can cope feeling so low. Hope you get some answers and help.

Hi all the not managing a sentence or forgetting things is fibro fog. All very annoying. I too am ok if I move round gently. But oh it's such a fine line. I spent three hours on my allotment y'day. I came back and had a bath but I could barely move or speak and I wasn't doing heavy digging. Yet over Easter I went three days in a row and had no reaction at all. That's one if the mysteries isn't it, it's so unpredictable. Last night I took two. Pregabilin (lyrica) and a codeine and that meant I could sleep. I will be better when I get up and start moving. You're right not many people understand this condition as we look normal apart from a bit tired  try googling Dominie Bell she use to run a website for fibro sufferers which was very informative. Day at a time is the only way when it's bad and rejoice in feb good days when they happen. Anyone who has not seen a rheumatologist should ask for a referral. This condition needs to be diagnosed/monitored properly. Good luck all and take care. What helped me was spirituality and  self development and a good undestanding of what this condition can be like and it's so different for very one.
